簡介

英文聖經的寫成對英語的發展過程影響巨大，當中衍生了不少常用英文習語。無論你是閱讀BBC新聞，欣賞電影，莎士比亞劇抑或流行曲，都能看見聖經英語的蹤跡。廣告常見的用語”go the extra mile”，美國總統奧巴馬演辭中常出現的“brother’s keeper”，均是英文聖經翻譯過程的產物。英文聖經亦運用多種修辭法，其文學價值備受中外學者推崇。本課程旨在裝備學員認識英文聖經當中的文學價值，並教授學員如何運用創意活動教學法教授聖經中的英語，把所學應用在學校或教會內，以提高同學對聖經的興趣。

課程主題及導師

11月27日英文聖經的文學價值；其在文學領域及流行文化的影響－張麗娟
12月4日衍生自聖經的常用習語，修辭技巧及其應用－張麗娟
12月11日英文聖經的修辭技巧及其應用－王忻
12月18日創意英文聖經教學法，例如透過加入歌曲，名畫等不同元素，提升同學興趣，ACE聖經英語課程簡介－王忻
