簡介

英文聖經的寫成對英語的發展過程影響巨大,當中衍生了不少常用英文習語。無論你是閱讀BBC新聞,欣賞電影,莎士比亞劇抑或流行曲,都能看見聖經英語的蹤跡。廣告常見的用語”go the extra mile”,美國總統奧巴馬演辭中常出現的“brother’s keeper”,均是英文聖經翻譯過程的產物。英文聖經亦運用多種修辭法,其文學價值備受中外學者推崇。本課程旨在裝備學員認識英文聖經當中的文學價值,並教授學員如何運用創意活動教學法教授聖經中的英語,把所學應用在學校或教會內,以提高同學對聖經的興趣。
