“The Lord enters into judgment against the elders and leaders of his people: “It is you who have ruined my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses. people and grinding the faces of the poor?” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.” “여호와께서 자기 백성의 장로들과 고관들을 심문하러 오시리니 포도원을 삼킨 자는 너희이며 가난한 자에게서 탈취한 물건이 너희의 집에 있도다 어찌하여 너희가 내 백성을 짓 밟으며 가난한 자의 얼굴에 멧돌질 하느냐 주 만군의 여호와 내가 말하였느니라 하시도다.”

이 뜻은 가난한 자들을 학대한다는 뜻입니다.

기원과 적용

이사야가 선지자가 된 구약시대에 지도자들이 예루살렘의 남쪽에 위치한 유다에서 가난한 자들을 학대했습니다. 이 내용의 배경은 장로들과 지도자들에게 하나님께서 큰소리로 맞서시는 모습을 나타냅니다.
