意味

旧約聖書の預言者イザヤは、神を受け入れる人々が新しいエルサレムで喜びと共に生きる世界の終わりに新しい天と新しい地球が来ることを予告しました。「彼らの目の涙をことごとくぬぐい取ってくださる。もはや死はなく、もはや悲しみも嘆きも労苦もない。最初のものは過ぎ去ったからである。」(ヨハネの黙示録 21:４)
