意思

水桶的一滴，就如杯水車薪，形容事情微不足道。

來源及應用

以賽亞是以色列南部的猶太先知，當時國王是希西家。希西家王的宮殿里裝滿了金銀珠寶，香料，貴重的膏油，武器，等等其他的一切財富。以賽亞預言說他宮殿里的一切財富將會被捋到巴比倫，王位要拱手讓給巴比倫王。在萬能的上帝看來，他現在所擁有的只是像水桶里的一滴，上帝才是無所不知包羅萬象的。
