Stumbling block (Leviticus 19:14)

Meaning:
A stumbling block is an obstacle that gets in the way and makes you stumble over.
Origin and Application:
When God reveals the laws to Moses, one of the laws says, “Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind.”
Example:
His jumpy job history is a stumbling block to his job search process.
