Bible Verse:
“All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25:32)
Meaning:
Origin and Application:
God likens people to herds of sheep for their simple nature. Goats, on the other hand, represent the hard-hearted who do not accept God. If you separate the sheep from the goats, you sort out the good from the bad.
